Critiquing & Editing

Critiquing. A good critique is one of the best ways to help get your work refined. Many people are intimidated by the thought of sitting around a table analyzing other peoples writing or having their precious literary baby critiqued.  While I am sure there are critical writing critique groups out there, I don't know one. But I've been a part of  positive groups who love to write and want to help each other write well. I have seen free local critique groups, and international groups with low yearly fees. I recommend a group that is positive and structured.

Editing. Editing is the process of refining your work. You can edit, then have friends help you edit (hopefully in a critique group) and when you are confident your work is at it's best, pay a professional  editor. Professional editors usually charge by the line or the page. See the resource tab for helpful free guides or products to purchase.
