SEO helps search engines find information on the internet.  The goal of creating a website or blog is to attract people who can benefit from it's content. Good SEO helps bring visitors to your site. Think of it like sending out an invitation to a party. When someone wants information about a party, they go online, type the word party into their computer's browser (Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.). The search engines go to work using  these clues. The search engines need clues to locate sites when they are searching. If you don't have the right search words in the computer, your guests won't find your online party. And if you don't have your keywords descriptive of your site, you won't get found on line.

The 1st goal is to have the right keywords, and the 2nd goal is to use the right social marketing strategy to boost your site to a higher ranking number with search engines. The higher your ranking, the more people see your site, or to use our illustration, they follow the clues to get to your party. If there's more than one party going on, you want to be the one everyone comes to, right?  

What do keywords look like? Like a string of words. For instance, the keywords for the party could be: party, music, bonfire, hamburgers, horseshoes.

Videos help boost your ranking  as well.

Add some videos and make them fun.
